The very first step is to make sure both your Mac and device are on the same network and have an active connection.
If both devices are on the same network, Pastebot Sync will ask for a 4-digit passcode. If you don’t see the passcode input boxes in Pastebot Sync, your Mac and device may not be able to find each other. Make sure they are both running on the same network and have an active connection.
If there are multiple versions of Pastebot trying to register at the same time, a “Select Another Device” button will appear and you can toggle through until you find your device. The name of the device found appears to the right of the passcode input box.
If you enter the correct passcode, your device and Mac should be registered in Pastebot. If the registration process takes too long, cancel the process on your device and try again. If you entered an incorrect passcode, try again.
