Coming Soon, Bug Fixes

As the old saying goes “You can’t make an omelette without breaking a few eggs”, well with an application as complex as Tweetbot and as many changes as we made to 2.0 a few bugs will get by. We’ve submitted Tweetbot 2.0.1 for iPhone and 1.0.1 for iPad and are waiting approval but we wanted to list out some of the bugs that we fixed for that release.

Fixed:
* DMs not working for iOS 4.x devices.
* Lists losing their positions.
* TweetMarker not working properly.
* Arabic, Thai, possibly other keyboards not functioning correctly.
* Video upload settings lost on restart.

We have no control over how fast Apple approves the update, but we’re hoping that it’ll be sometime late next week.

Nice! Great work with this major update.

Talking about TweetMarker, I’m missing the possibility of decide if I want to scroll to the last tweet read, only show the market on the timeline or none of that.

Mind adding an icon to help to identify wich tweets are related to a conversation. Maybe it’s absurd, but I used to see it in other apps that I’ve used. Without it, Tweetbot it’s great, but it could be even better!

Just opinions and suggestions.

Thanks for your work.

Thank you for this update, but there is an imbalance in the private messages, and when opened, Antafo program suddenly, and also is not to attach a picture or a video clip on the Private Messages, I ask work to repair this defect, and thank you very much again.

I noticed that on Tweetbot for iPad you can only upload one image. Is that a bug or designed to be like that?

Perhaps a tutorial on the most recent tweetbot update would help? I’m a long time user and there are some services I still don’t know about :P

Love the look of the “New Tweets” bar, but having it show up randomly every 5 minutes (or permanently) is annoying and redundant. If that’s something that happens due to the new automatic refresh, then please give us the option to turn it off.

Oh, fantastic! I wish you’d pushed a tweet about this today or whenever. I haven’t been able to keep track of my tweets since 2.0 and it’s driving me nutz. Posted a two-star review for 2.0, but will post enhanced review when bugfix version posts.

I’m really enjoying the other enhancements, but these particular bugs really hit my use case hard.

Hurry the heck up, Apple!!

My love for Tweetbot never dies but please consider the following:

- Include an option to switch back to the old timeline alignment and color scheme
- Add an option in the settings to hide the thumbnail of the images in tweets
- Bring back the oldie but goldie “new tweet bar” because it served it’s purpose way better than the new one, actually

Using the app Almost hourly I found out that its only possible to upload 1 foto per tweet!
I’m used to the option of uploading more than 1 foto per tweet.

Don’t know if this is intentionally or a bug but I would like to have the option to upload more than 1 foto per tweet.

In my eyes that is The only little flaw about the entire app.

Keep up the good work!

I love Tweetbot, since the release my only Twitter Client I’m using.

What I want to see in an update is the ability to see pending follow requests and Accept/Decline them.

Thanks!

If I tap and hold an avatar in the timeline the menu that appears checks follower status & then shows a public reply option (for someone who does not follow me), but when tapped this public reply button brings up the DM screen about half the time.
Usually the first time the reply screens comes up correctly, but if you close it and repeat you get the DM screen.

How does this work? Inline Image Viewing (Service Dependent), Every review mentions it but nowhere is listed a step by step.

I’ve tried uploading, using twitpix?

I’m glad to see the list position fix is coming (and that it wasn’t user error on my part.)

Aside from that, the update is fantastic for me. I really like the easier clicking on objects and the persistent count feature.

Good to see the update and even happier to see that the position fix wasn’t all me!

For somebody who want to upload multiply picture in 1 tweet.
Use other picture service eg. twitpic not twitter’s photo service. (in tweetbot you can use many picture service)

Is there an option to keep the screen from dimming/sleeping? I’d like to have my phone in a dock and be updated. (I’d prefer not to have to run a seperate Twitter app on my workstation when Tweetbot is so awesome).

Tweetbot is, hands down, the sexiest, most fun and rewarding Twitter app I’ve come across and as somebody who makes a living on social media, i can tell you I’ve used more than a few.

:) However :) It doesn’t appear as if there is a tweet scheduling feature. If I’m just missing something, please let me know. I’ll be right back. I’ve got some other apps to delete from my iDevices.

If not, please let me know if it’s something you think might get added soon.

Have I mentioned I’d like to delete all other TwitterApps I have? I’ll even take video of me deleting them in exchange for adding this feature.

Promise.
