Our Shiny New Website
If you are reading this, then you’ve stumbled upon our modest redesign. And if you’ve seen our previous Pastebot page, this might look a little familiar. Truth is, we had planned on launching our website redesign along with Pastebot, but there just wasn’t enough time in the end.
The new site is a little rough around the edges, but like our software, it will improve over time. Our goal this time around was to keep things simple. Easier for us to maintain, and easier for our customers to find what they need. We hope we’ve succeeded.
Bye Bye Getsatisfaction.com
We’ve had numerous complaints about how confusing getting support through getsatisfaction.com was. Well we are ditching it and trying a new support approach. Our support section is modeled closely after the support section within our apps (at least after the updates). The most common questions we get are clearly listed with answers and then the option to get more help or send us a suggestion is at the bottom. These forms send emails directly to us, only organized and filtered so we can manage them better. We’ll see how this works out over the next few months. We’ll continue to answer support questions on getsatisfaction.com, but we won’t send our customers there anymore.
Our Mailing List
If you scroll to the bottom of our website, you’ll notice an input box to subscribe to our mailing list. All this does is add your email address to a secure database so we can send you an email when we have big news to share. You won’t receive weekly or monthly emails. In fact, you may only receive 1-2 emails a year. Add your email address to be notified when we have big news to share. We will NEVER share or sell your email address with anyone.
If you do want more frequent updates (like when we post on our blog), you can subscribe to this site’s RSS feed, follow us on Twitter, or become a fan of Tapbots on Facebook.
That’s about all the info we have for you. And let us know what you think (the good and the bad) about the new site in the comments!

The site redesign looks awesome – I wish I could create something as beautiful as this!
Very well done! Awesome design and UI!
Hey, I really like the new website. I’m also happy to see GetSatisfaction go. It wasn’t the best choice.
The new website is lovable, but I kinde preferred the former landing page, with the out-of-focus iPhones…
Can we have a mirror of the last version somwhere ? Kinda like a Tapbots Museum ?
Apart from that… Wow. Just wow.
I just wanted to say how much I love the site redesign.
The dribbble teaser images look absolutely amazing. I love the characters you’ve created!
Great work guys. Love it!
The new site is gorgeous. Super clean and shows off your great suite of apps. Can’t wait to see what’s in the future for you guys… hopefully an iPad app!
Nice job on the new site.
Love to hear how switching to your own support works out. We use Tender from entp, and it works reasonably well, but its soooo slow.
“rough around the edges”, you’re kidding, right?
The new site looks great!
Congrats! Really beautiful work, I love the illustration at the bottom of the page
(especially the Twitter birdie is way cool).
Only “issue” I noticed so far: you forgot a ; in the HTML title attribute for the entity encoded –. Just wanted to let you know.
My previous post was intended to contain an em dash instead of the cryptical mess.
Nice work on the new site design, Great Job!
The layout and flow of the site is simple, yet elegant – great combo! :-)
Great work. A site as nice as your apps.
Great Design!
Awesome redesign, I like it much better then the last! Cool CSS 3.0 transitions as well.
Great Job! Nice and clean design… Mmm Me Like!
It’s very different to the last version, one thing I noticed is that in IE8 the gallery arrows don’t work when the page first loads, the dot navigation works fine. Once I browse to the second image from the dot nav I can then use the top arrows to navigate.
http://tapbots.com/support/ please resize app-thumbs with some graphic editor
@NIkola: Please use a browser/OS that understands how to scale simple graphic files properly. ;)
@Mark: :))) Yes, you are wright, it works fine on Safari (on Win).
Sweeeet redesign! I really liked the previous design, so I was a little surprised that you changed it, but you did an amazing job – both times! :)
Hi there. I’ve only now got to exploring the new features in 1.1. Congratulations for this wonderful app and for the many additions. I recently sent a support question about how to ungroup items, but have discovered how to do that just now.
That brings me to the main point: Pastebot is getting so feature-rich that it deserves a manual, or at least a collection of how-tos. Users really have to delve into the app to discover all it’s capabilities…
Also, with more documentation I believe you’d get more sales. I confess I bought the app on impulse, based on the pretty design and great reviews and when I first tried it I couldn’t grasp 10% of it’s usefulness. Now, only months later, am I seeing all the possible applications of Pastebot.
Many users may give up before they discover all your app offers. Wouldn’t some more documentation help? I’d be glad to help if you need. Just my few cents…
Cool Site. wish you used more plugins / css tricks. Other than that I love it.
